OVERVIEW

You will learn observation, composition, color and value, in addition to paint application and art history. The emphasis is on developing a confident, personal painting style. Students of any level of expertise provide their own painting and drawing materials from my supply list. In the warmer months we paint at the beach, the creek, or in the garden.

ADULT

Throughout the school year, I hold classes for those interested in painting in acrylics or oils. One three-hour weekly morning class is held.

TEEN

After school, students can hone their skills in a variety of media with a focus on painting, drawing, and collage. One two-hour weekly afternoon class is held. Portfolio preparation and critique are also provided for juniors and seniors.
